GRANDVALIRA

Completed in 2003, the Pyrenees’ largest ski resort has 128 slopes for all levels of experience, totaling more than 200 kilometers and including ski-in hotels. It spans the villages of Encamp, Canillo, El Tarter, Soldeu, GrauRoig and Pas de la Casa in eastern Andorra. The resort offers equipment rental, a reservations center, restaurants and snack bars, skiing and snowboarding school, sun terraces, après ski, barbecue pits, has Wi-Fi area, snow parks, children's tours, baby clubs and day-care centers and a wide variety of snow-based activities for non-skiers.

Grandvalira is also one of Europe's biggest resorts, with a lift capacity of 100,000 to minimize tails, and recently upgraded snowmaking facilities that now cover 65 percent of the slopes.

ORDINO ARCALIS

Ordino Arcalis, known for offering the best quality and greatest amount of snow in the Pyrenees, has become part of the Grandvalira Resorts group. It offers a unique mountain area in which families and experts skiers can enjoy themselves in complete freedom, without tails or crowds, in a safe and now more convenient atmosphere, thanks to the new Tristaina gondola lift. PAL ARINSAL

Pal Arinsal is only 6 km from the Capital and is the easiest resort to access from Andorra The Vella. It's formed by two sectors: Pal and Arinsal and included in a total of 63km of groomed tracks between 1,500 meters and 2,560 meters. There are currently 7 green, 18 blue, 17 red and 5 black runs plus 5 slalom. Arinsal has ski-in hotels and equipment storage areas, with the Comalmplemple service area at an altitude of 1,950 meters. Pal is the closest resort to the center of Andorra, with gentleman slopes ideal for learners, a ski and snowboarding school catering for children, and a host of other attractions. Pal Arinsal offers a multitude of activities for all ages and tastes, many of them non-ski related. There are freestyle areas, a high-quality snowpark with areas for various ages and standards, and a range of restaurants for a leisurely sitdown meal or a quick snack to recharge your batteries before heading back to the slopes.
