In February 2024, the world’s 15 best skiers returned to Andorra!

The Soldeu sector of Grandvalira has hosted two races on the women's calendar of the Audi FIS Slalom World Cup and Women's Giant Slalom 2023-24.

During the month of February, the Avet track has once again been the stage where the fifteen best female skiers in the world have competed, led by Mikaela Shiffrin, the current American three-time world champion (absolute, slalom and giant slalom) , along with Slovakian Petra Vlhová, Italian Federica Brignone and Swiss Lara Gut-Behrami, among others.

The 2023-24 Women’s World Cup will take place in 22 locations and feature a total of 44 races, culminating with the Finals of the Audi FIS World Cup in March 2024.

2029 World Championships
Drawing on its experience of hosting a number of European Cup and World Cup events, and in particular the two grand finals of the World Cup in 2019 and 2023, the Principality of Andorra has submitted a bid to host the 2029 World Championships at Grandvalira Soldeu-El Tarter.
