In the Principality of Andorra you can choose from 2 downhill ski areas and 1 cross-country ski area.
Vallnord is a ski resort located in the La Massana and Arinsal valleys. It has more than 60 km of slopes in three sectors: Pal and Arinsal. In the Canillo, Ordino and Encamp valleys, on the other hand, you will find Grandvalira resorts, a true paradise if you are looking to spend hours skiing down the slopes of Arcalis, Encamp, Canillo, El Tarter, Soldeu, Grau Roig and El Pas de la Casa. There are no less than 135 kilometres of slopes at your disposal!
Do you prefer cross-country skiing? Naturland has 15 km of trails in the Rabassa forest in Sant Julià de Lòria. It is the perfect place to practice sport while enjoying nature as a family. Here you will find a snow slide, snowshoe routes, snowmobiles and quads. Are you a thrill seeker? Don't miss the Tobotronc, the world's longest alpine slide at 5.3 km long. It's your best bet to feel unique sensations!
These resorts offer two other facilities that are a must visit if you are a fan of snowboarding: Freeride Area and Snow Park.
Enjoying the snow is possible without skis
There are many other experiences you can enjoy in the snow! Activities for the whole family and for all levels await you at the resorts. They include mushing, snowbike, snowmobiles, snowshoes and many other options for people who want to experience new sensations.
There is just as wide of a selection of snow activities to do at night as during the day. Dining in an igloo and moonlight snowshoes are just some of the options available at night in the snow.
Sporting events
The Principality is a global leader in sport and even more so for snow sports. Some of the most world's most important competitions are regularly held at our mountains, including the Alpine Skiing, Mountain Skiing and Speed Skiing World Cups, the Freeride World Tour and the Total Fight Masters of Freestyle.
