Climate

Andorra’s climate is Mediterranean-mountain type, summers are warm and winters cold, with substantial snowfalls, although there are over 300 days of sunshine a year.

Temperatures change considerably between the lower and higher areas (differences of 4º or 5º C), due to the great variation in altitude.

The average low is -2º C and the average high is 24º C. Snowfall is frequent and the total rainfall varies between 700 and 1,100 millimeters a year, mostly between October and May.
